DATAMARK, Inc. is currently seeking a professional and experienced Italian Bilingual Medical Interpreter to join our team. The Bilingual Medical Interpreter will play a crucial role in facilitating effective communication between patients and healthcare providers in medical settings. Responsibilities Provide verbal interpretation services to facilitate communication between patients and healthcare providers Accurately and effectively interpret medical conversations, including patient history, diagnosis, treatment options, and instructions Assist with the translation of medical documents and forms Maintain a high level of confidentiality and adhere to professional and ethical standards Stay up to date on medical terminology and procedures Build rapport and establish trust with patients and healthcare professionals Requirements Fluent in both English and Italian (spoken and written) Proficient knowledge of medical terminology and procedures Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to adapt to different dialects and accents Strong listening and comprehension skills Highly professional and empathetic demeanor Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information Equipment Requirements for the Position: Computer: Intel Core i5 processor (8th generation or newer) or Ryzen 5 (3000 series or higher), minimum 4 cores / 8 threads, 8-16 GB RAM, and 256 GB SSD or larger Connectivity: Mandatory use of a wired Ethernet connection. VPN use is not allowed, and work must be performed only from the approved location Audio: Wired headset with a boom microphone, unidirectional and with noise cancellation.
