Data Annotation Specialist - Spanish

Profile : Data Annotation Specialist – Spanish Location: Spanish | Remote | Freelance Commitment: ~20 hours/week | Duration: 30–45 days Languages: Spanish & English We are looking for Spanish speaking freelance professionals currently based in Mexico to support an AI Data Annotation & Translation project. The role involves reviewing, translating, annotating, and evaluating content to help improve the quality and accuracy of AI systems. Role Overview Perform annotation, translation, review, and classification tasks in Spanish and English. Review content according to detailed project guidelines and quality standards. Ensure translations and annotations are accurate, consistent, and contextually appropriate. Identify linguistic, grammatical, cultural, and contextual issues. Maintain consistency across large volumes of data. Complete assigned tasks within the required timelines. Participate in quality checks and incorporate feedback when required. Requirements Currently residing in Mexico. Native proficiency in Spanish. Good working proficiency in English. Strong understanding of Spanish grammar, syntax, language, and cultural context. Previous experience in translation, annotation, content review, linguistic evaluation, localization, or AI/ML data projects is preferred. Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow detailed instructions. Ability to work independently in a remote/freelance environment. Reliable internet connection and access to a computer/laptop. Assessment & Onboarding Candidates must successfully complete 2 mandatory assessments as part of the selection process. Successful candidates will proceed to onboarding and project allocation.
