Job description
Job Description We are looking for a Japanese-English interpreter to support a wind power generation facility (wind turbine) construction project. You will act as a bridge between Japanese staff and overseas engineers and contribute to the successful completion of the project. Contract period: Around mid-January 2027 to January 2028 The contract may end earlier. Work location: Southern Fukushima Prefecture to northern Ibaraki Prefecture You will be stationed at the construction site. Responsibilities Provide communication support between overseas engineers and Japanese personnel Provide Japanese-English interpretation at on-site meetings Interpret work instructions and technical explanations Interpret safety training and safety meetings Translate technical documents, work procedures, emails, and other materials Provide interpretation for online meetings Perform administrative and other duties related to the construction site, as required Requirements Business-level or higher proficiency in both Japanese and English Experience in interpretation and/or translation Ability to travel domestically within Japan Those who are simply interested in learning more about the position are also very welcome to get in touch.
