Role Description The Freelance Translator role at LWE is a full-time, on-site position based in Gujranwala. The translator will be responsible for accurately translating written content related to products, marketing materials, customer communications, and internal documentation between designated languages, while maintaining tone, style, and clarity. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing source texts, performing high-quality translations, revising and editing translated content, and collaborating with team members to ensure consistency in terminology and messaging. The role also involves meeting agreed deadlines, supporting localization efforts for online platforms, and helping improve communication with diverse customer segments. Qualifications Strong proficiency in at least two languages (including English), with the ability to produce clear, accurate, and context-appropriate translations. Demonstrated skills in writing, editing, and proofreading, with attention to grammar, style, and consistency. Ability to conduct basic research to verify terminology and ensure accurate translation of product and technical information. Familiarity with online shopping or e-commerce environments and customer-focused communication is preferred. Excellent time management skills and the ability to handle multiple translation tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting. Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to work on-site with cross-functional teams in Gujranwala. Experience with translation or localization tools and basic computer literacy; prior freelance or in-house translation experience is an advantage. Relevant academic background (e.g., languages, translation, communication) or equivalent practical experience is beneficial.
