Interpreter

Job Designation: Interpreter Location: Nagoya, Aichi, Japan Required Experience : 3+ years Language Requirement: JLPT N2 and above Key Responsibilities: Provide simultaneous interpretation between Japanese and English during technical meetings related to eVTOL aircraft development. Interpret during business development meetings, management meetings, board meetings, and discussions with domestic and international partners. Support communication with aviation authorities, suppliers, engineers, and other stakeholders. Facilitate effective communication and bridge cultural differences within multinational teams. Provide on-site interpretation during flight tests, demonstration flights, and other aerospace project activities. Learn and accurately interpret technical terminology related to aerospace engineering, eVTOL technology, and aviation regulations. Must-Have Skills: Minimum 3 years of professional simultaneous interpretation experience in Japanese and English. Experience in technical fields such as manufacturing, IT, automotive, aviation, or other engineering-related industries. Excellent Japanese and English communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information accurately. Strong intellectual curiosity and willingness to learn new technical terminology and aviation regulations independently. Valid Japanese ordinary driver's license, as travel to flight-test and demonstration sites is required. Ability to work effectively with multinational teams and handle discussions in dynamic professional environments. Preferred Skills: Experience in the aerospace or aviation industry. Experience in automotive, railway, or other transportation equipment industries. Experience with Remote Simultaneous Interpretation (RSI) tools, such as Zoom. Familiarity with aerospace engineering terminology, eVTOL technology, or aviation certification processes. Experience interpreting during technical discussions, management meetings, or negotiations with international stakeholders.
