Company Description Aqlama.ai is a new startup built on the experience and success of Aqlama Language Services, founded in 2019 by Dr. Fayeq Oweis, a former Language Manager at Google. The company focuses on speech and language services that support Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning applications. Role Description This is a flexible and remote role for a Language Expert. The Language Expert will work on translating, validating, or reviewing translations between language pairs , ensuring linguistic accuracy and consistency. Qualifications Strong expertise in linguistics or language studies, including phonetics, morphology, syntax, or sociolinguistics. Experience with speech or text annotation, transcription, and quality review for AI, ML, or NLP projects. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus. Attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a systematic approach to quality assurance. Comfort working remotely, managing time effectively, and collaborating with distributed, cross-functional teams. Interest in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and conversational technologies; prior industry experience is an advantage. Show more Show less
