Software Localization Engineer

Job Purpose We are looking for a Software Localization Engineer, who will be in charge or all technical aspects of the localization process including investigating localization issues and providing technical support to vendors. Key Responsibilities Job Overview Prepare files needed for localization, hand-offs to vendors and hand-backs from vendors Create or modify processes and tools necessary for localization process Investigate localization issues/bugs and propose or makes fixes Communicate with vendors and provide technical support with CAT tools Create or modify documentation for new or existing processes and tools Create or modify processes, tools and scripts needed for building process Analyze new projects to identify potential engineering related issues Skills & Experience Previous experience working in localization engineering or with localization processes Basic programming skills (especially Python) Knowledge of regular expressions (Regex) Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) Knowledge of additional localization file formats (e.g., JSON, YAML, XLIFF, RESX) Familiarity with CAT tools and localization technologies In accordance with applicable pay transparency legislation, candidates will be informed of the salary range for this position prior to interview .
