Key Responsibilities Translate and edit a variety of content, including UI content and long-form text . Perform linguistic and functional testing of translated products. Identify and resolve linguistic, grammatical, and cultural issues. Maintain and update terminology databases and style guides . Provide linguistic and cultural expertise for localization projects. Provide linguistic guidance and support to vendor translation teams. Ensure translated content is accurate, natural, culturally appropriate, and consistent. What We’re Looking For 100% native fluency in Bengali and near-native fluency in English. 3+ years of experience in English ↔ Bengali translation. Strong editing and proofreading skills. Good understanding of Bengali culture, language nuances, and current trends. Experience in localization, linguistic testing, or digital content is preferred. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Preferred Qualifications Degree in Translation Studies, Linguistics, Communications , or a related field. Experience working in the social media, mobile, web, or digital product space . Familiarity with Computer-Assisted Translation (CAT) tools . Experience working with translation/localization vendors. Candidate Requirements Must-have: Native-level Bengali fluency.
