Direct message the job poster from TWYFORD INTERNATIONAL (Uganda) Ivy Oriaro Ivy Oriaro Recruitment Supervisor Location: Kapeeka Role Summary Twford International Uganda is seeking to hire skilled Chinese Translator to facilitate effective communication between Chinese managers and the local workforce.The successful candidates will play a key role in ensuring operational clarity, smooth coordination, and efficient workflow on the factory floor. Key Responsibilities Act as a communication bridge between Chinese managers and local staff. Assist the Chinese HOD with weekly attendance updates and monthly performance evaluations. Monitor and report on the daily work progress of local team leaders. Supervise the working conditions of local employees, address arising issues promptly, and escalate concerns to the Chinese manager. Understand the operations of each workstation within the department to guide and correct employees when needed. Perform any additional duties assigned by management. Required Qualifications Diploma or Bachelor’s degree from a recognised institution. Proficiency in spoken and written Mandarin Chinese (HSK Level 4 or above preferred). Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Chinese Translator/Interpreter. Key Competencies & Skills Strong communication skills in both Mandarin and English. Excellent decision-making and interpersonal abilities. High integrity and professionalism. Team-oriented, collaborative, and able to work well with diverse groups. Capable of supervising and guiding local employees effectively. Self-driven and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
