Role Description The DTP Translation Expert (Desktop Publishing & Editing – Word Files) will be responsible for preparing, formatting, and refining translated documents to ensure they are visually consistent, accurate, and ready for client delivery. Day-to-day tasks include working with Word and other office formats, applying consistent styles, layouts, fonts, and page settings, and aligning translated content with original corporate identity or branding guidelines. The role involves creating and adjusting graphics, tables, and brochure-style layouts as needed, collaborating with language specialists to resolve formatting issues, and ensuring that complex multilingual documents remain clear and professional. This is a full-time remote role, requiring the ability to manage tasks independently while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications Strong skills in Desktop Publishing and Word document formatting, including styles, templates, and layout management. Experience working with Corporate Identity and branding guidelines to maintain consistent visual presentation across translated documents. Proficiency in Graphic Design and Graphics handling, including insertion, adjustment, and optimization of visual elements in text-heavy files. Ability to design and refine Brochures and similar marketing materials, ensuring alignment between translated content and original design. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word and familiarity with other office tools; experience with PDF editors or DTP software (e.g., InDesign) is an advantage. Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work with multilingual texts and complex layouts. Prior experience in translation, localization, or working with language service providers is beneficial. Relevant education or training in design, publishing, communications, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
