Role Description This is a full-time remote role focused on DTP translation and formatting in Word files. The team member will work on translating and reformatting complex documents, ensuring that tables, layouts, styles, and graphics are accurately preserved and adapted for target languages. Daily tasks include adjusting corporate templates, aligning tables and paragraphs, managing page layouts, and maintaining consistent visual identity across multilingual versions. The role involves close collaboration with language specialists, reviewing formatted files for quality, and preparing print- and client-ready deliverables that align with Lekhak.app’s standards for precision and usability. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong skills in Desktop Publishing and working with complex Word layouts and tables. Candidates should possess skills in Corporate Identity and the ability to maintain consistent brand styling across documents. Candidates should possess skills in Graphic Design and Graphics handling, including placement and resizing of visual elements. Candidates should possess skills in designing and formatting Brochures and other multi-page marketing or legal documents. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and basic familiarity with other DTP tools (e.g., InDesign, Publisher) is beneficial. Attention to detail, strong visual layout sense, and ability to follow style guides and formatting standards. Comfort working with multilingual content; experience with Indian and global languages is an advantage. Ability to work independently in a remote setup, manage deadlines, and communicate clearly with distributed teams. Relevant education or training in design, publishing, communication, or a related field is preferred.
