Role Description This is a full-time remote role for Mongolian-English Interpreters. Interpreters will provide accurate, ethical, and impartial interpretation between Mongolian and English over telephone and video connections for customers in healthcare, legal, education, and government environments. Daily tasks include listening carefully to speakers, conveying meaning faithfully in the target language, and maintaining tone, style, and register. The role also involves following client and company protocols, using GLOBO’s technology platform to accept and manage calls, and documenting sessions as required. Interpreters are expected to maintain confidentiality, adhere to professional standards, and participate in ongoing training or quality reviews. Qualifications Strong Mongolian and English language proficiency, with excellent listening, speaking, and comprehension skills in both languages. Demonstrated interpreting skills, including consecutive interpretation, accurate terminology usage, and ability to maintain neutrality and cultural sensitivity. Familiarity with professional settings such as healthcare, legal, education, or government, and ability to follow sector-specific terminology and protocols. Comfort with technology, including remote communication tools, stable internet connection, and ability to use GLOBO’s online platforms and applications. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, including professionalism, reliability, and the ability to manage stress in fast-paced or sensitive situations. Commitment to confidentiality, adherence to interpreting ethics, and respect for diverse cultures and backgrounds. Previous interpreting experience or relevant training/certification is strongly preferred; familiarity with translation or localization is a plus. Ability to work full-time remotely with a quiet, private workspace suitable for confidential calls.
