Role Description The Spanish Interpreter will provide professional remote interpretation services for clients across medical, legal, and business settings. This full-time role involves handling inbound and outbound calls, delivering accurate consecutive and simultaneous interpretation between Spanish and English, and maintaining confidentiality and compliance with relevant regulations. Day-to-day tasks include listening carefully to speakers, conveying meaning and tone faithfully, clarifying terminology when needed, and supporting clear communication between parties. The interpreter will collaborate with team members and supervisors, follow established workflows, document sessions as required, and participate in ongoing training to maintain high-quality language services and subject-matter expertise. This is a remote position, requiring reliable internet connectivity and a quiet, professional environment. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong interpreting skills, including consecutive and Simultaneous Interpretation. Candidates should possess Medical Interpretation capabilities and familiarity with healthcare terminology. Candidates should possess Translation and general Language Services skills to support diverse client needs. Native or near-native proficiency in Spanish and excellent command of English, with clear, professional communication. Proven experience as a Spanish interpreter, ideally in remote or call center environments. Knowledge of legal and business terminology is highly beneficial. Strong listening skills, cultural sensitivity, and ability to remain neutral and impartial. Comfort with technology, including VoIP platforms, CRM tools, and secure data handling practices. Ability to work full-time remote with consistent availability, reliability, and professionalism. Relevant certifications in interpretation or translation and prior work with international clients are a plus.
