Job description
RESPONSIBILITIES Maintaining production-grade localization and mapping algorithms for autonomous vehicles Maintaining and improving multi-sensor fusion and state estimation using LiDAR, GNSS/INS, IMU, camera, and vehicle odometry Working with coordinate systems, rigid-body transformations, sensor extrinsic, map frames, geodetic frames, and GNSS reference systems Optimizing CPU, memory, latency, and determinism of real-time C++ components Designing automated evaluation and benchmarking pipelines using recorded datasets and ground-truth trajectories Performing root-cause analysis using ROS bags, sensor logs, profiling tools, and offline evaluation frameworks QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience Minimum 6 years of strong professional experience developing localization and mapping systems Excellent command of English, both written and spoken is a must Advanced proficiency in C++, including modern C++ practices, memory management, concurrency, and performance-oriented development Good understanding of GNSS concepts including RTK, correction services, and solution quality Strong Linux development and debugging experience Experience with profiling, debugging, and performance optimization of real-time systems Experience designing unit tests, integration tests, regression tests, and dataset-based algorithm evaluation Ability to independently investigate complex failures and perform systematic root-cause analysis Experience designing maintainable software architectures and reviewing production C++ code Strong technical communication and documentation skills Experience with GNSS/INS hardware and high-precision positioning systems is preferable Understanding of RTK, PPP, GNSS/INS integration, geodetic coordinate systems, and datum transformations is preferable Having no travel restriction
