Job description
Since the launch in 2013, NORMAL has experienced rapid growth, opening more than a 1000 stores and establishing a strong presence in 13 markets, with more to come. Next year we will open in Estonia, and we a therefore looking for a part time Estonian translator.
As a translator at NORMAL, you will be part of a team of 8 translators, 5 of whom are based at our headquarter in Skanderborg.
Your Tasks Will Include
Translating shelf labels and other product texts
Translating product labels
Translations of presentations and various documents
Translating the weekly newsletter for stores (Wednesday)
Help building a NORMAL-word-database for internal translation use
About You
You are calm and structured, and you know how to manage your time and tasks on your own. We imagine that you are a student working on either your bachelor’s or master’s degree. You have particularly strong written skills, and you care about delivering good quality in everything you do. You enjoy working independently, but you are also proactive and bring a positive attitude – even when things get busy. You are a native Estonian speaker , and a strong level of English is also important.
Terms of employment
The weekly working hours are 8-15 hours. We expect you to be reliable, but we also recognise the need for mutual flexibility and planning around busy periods and exams.
Workplace: Skanderborg (at least 1-2 times a month), but in the onboarding period 2-3 times a week, so we expect you to live within 1-2 hours from our HQ.
