Bengali to English Translator (Part-Time) Newham, London 8 Hours per Week £22.50 per hour We are currently seeking a Bengali to English Translator to support a busy team based in Newham, East London . This is an excellent opportunity for a fluent Bengali and English speaker who enjoys helping people, has strong communication skills, and is looking for flexible part-time work. Key Responsibilities Provide accurate verbal and written translation from Bengali to English and English to Bengali. Support meetings, appointments, and community engagement activities. Assist with translating documents, emails, and correspondence where required. Ensure information is communicated clearly, professionally, and confidentially. Build positive relationships with local residents and stakeholders. About You Fluent in both Bengali and English (spoken and written). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information. Previous translation, interpretation, customer service, or community engagement experience is desirable but not essential. Local knowledge of Newham and the surrounding area would be advantageous.
