[Freelance/Remote] Korean or English to Polish, Czech, Hungarian, Croatian & Greek Drama Subtitle Translator Voithru is recruiting freelance subtitle translators for upcoming Korean drama localization projects. We are currently looking for translators who can work from Korean or English subtitles into the following target languages. Language Pairs Source Languages Korean English Target Languages Polish Czech Hungarian Croatian Greek Applicants who can work from either Korean or English are welcome to apply. Applicants who can work from both source languages are also highly welcome. Responsibilities Translate Korean or English subtitles of Korean dramas into the target language Accurately apply provided guidelines, glossaries, and terminology Localize dialogue naturally while reflecting the context, tone, and character relationships of the original content Maintain consistency in subtitle style, expressions, and terminology Meet assigned deadlines and communicate promptly regarding project progress Requirements Native or near-native proficiency in the target language Strong comprehension of Korean and/or English Professional translation or localization experience Ability to follow project guidelines and meet deadlines Strong communication skills and responsiveness Preferred Qualifications Experience in subtitle or audiovisual translation Experience translating dramas, movies, entertainment shows, or other video content Good understanding of Korean dramas and Korean culture Experience with MTPE is a plus Project Information Employment type: Freelance / Remote Content type: Korean dramas Work scope: Subtitle translation Source materials may be provided in Korean or English depending on the title Project schedules and workload may vary depending on the language pair and project requirements Rates and detailed working conditions will be provided before project assignment How to Apply Please complete the application form below.
