The interpreter will translate patient questions, concerns, and medical histories, and relay provider instructions, consent information, and follow-up details. The role also involves maintaining confidentiality, adhering to medical and privacy regulations, and documenting interactions when required by clients. The interpreter will collaborate with internal teams to support quality standards, follow call center protocols, and participate in training to stay current with medical terminology and best practices. Qualifications Strong proficiency in Korean and English, with the ability to perform accurate Medical Interpretation and Interpreting in clinical settings. Demonstrated skills in Translation and Simultaneous Interpretation, ensuring timely and precise communication between patients and providers. Solid knowledge of Medical Terminology, particularly in areas such as primary care, emergency care, and specialty services. Prior experience in medical or healthcare interpreting, preferably in remote or call center environments. Understanding of patient confidentiality, HIPAA or similar privacy regulations, and professional ethics in medical communication. Excellent listening skills, attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm and neutral in sensitive or urgent situations. Reliable high-speed internet connection, a quiet workspace, and comfort with using remote communication and call center software.
