Position: Lingala Bilingual Expert Type: Contract Compensation: $45 - $95/hour Location: Remote Commitment: 10-40 hrs/week Role Responsibilities Transcribe video content in Lingala, ensuring accurate and detailed capture of spoken language. Outline timestamps and describe the emotional tone and intent of speakers. Analyze and evaluate grammar, tone, and language structure in Lingala and English content. Define and elaborate on conceptual aspects of words and phrases, capturing cultural and contextual nuances. Perform complex language tasks to train and fine-tune AI language models. Collaborate with the customer's team to ensure deliverables meet quality standards and project requirements. Requirements Native or near-native proficiency in Lingala and English, with advanced communication skills. Exceptional attention to detail in linguistic analysis and transcription work. Ability to identify and articulate emotional nuances and tone in spoken language. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills applied to language tasks. Experience in transcription, translation, localization, or similar linguistics-focused roles. Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a remote environment.
